Welcome
to my small ShpongleLand...
“Dorset
Perception” was the very first Shpongle song I heard, and I
was instantly captured by all those different sounds and
rhythms. As I was smoking my little joint just before I went to
sleep like I usually do, I’ve begun to discover Shpongle and
their (second album) “Tales of the Inexpressible” with headphones on my
ears. I was stoned when I heard a song which will become one of
my favorite songs, one of the most amazing songs I’ve ever
heard, “Around the World in a Tea Daze” and it made me
totally shpongled! I found one more lost part of me. I wonder if
I could find the words to explain my experience with the music
of Simon Posford and his friends, as I can show that with these
creations of my own...

““SHPONGLE”
is a new world of traditional sounds, acoustic guitars, Moroccan
drums, Turkish operatic singing, cello, double bass, backing
vocals and silver flute blended together by the computer
wizardry of Simon Posford's studio production."
Shpongle
are Simon
Posford and Raja Ram.
People who have also
graced “Tales of the Inexpressible” are: vocalist Michele
Adamson who is going to tickle your garbles with
her sonorities, Hari Om who sang on “Around the World
in a Tea Daze” and “Once Upon The Sea Of Blissful Awareness”,
Pete Callard plays guitar and is regarded as an extremely
serious musician by extremely serious musicians and can
improvise like a bird in the mating season, there are also
harmonies by the cellist Harry Escott, a Japanese
percussionist whose name we cant pronounce...and the rest of the
shpongoloids. |

beautiful Nebula like this one eh? And this

This
picture is original inspired in its own way.
Sometimes you can find Michele Adamson
chatting with her fans.
As
I saw some pictures of her, I said I have a very
strange feeling I know her from somewhere, (as I
really do), and what she said, you can read from
this picture...

This
is Raja Ram in Helix Ring Nebula, with his magic
flute. His music is amazing! Sweet, kinda hypnotic,
cosmic... Raj
is the most interesting old man I ever heard about. I
would say good, very kind,
very talented and very positive... his words helped me a lot in my hard
moments... divine moments
of truth... |

Lot
of weed and Shpongle 3... I've been caught one more
time...
This
picture is a mixed result of my hearing "Outer
Shponglia" and "Schnitzl'd in the Negev" and
so I called it Schnitzl'd Into Outer Shponglia.
And I think I found a beautiful twistedly
romantic story there |

Shpongled Love (1024x768)

Sometimes, human words are unbelievable poor
when they need to explane some of the most beautiful
things like dreaming, like fallin' [deeply] in love,
like what you feel while listening to music that you
really really like. It's magic, maybe that's why human words doesn't work
here. I
think I finally discovered the real meaning of Love
is a Many Shpongled Thing |
